One frame, many worlds
Appiqon is a discovery framework for consumer apps, built for the moment when you know roughly what you want and not what it is called.
What we are for
App stores are built for searching, and searching only helps when you already know the name of the thing you want. The other situation is far more common: you know what you want your evening, your commute or your training week to feel like, and you want a short list rather than a scroll.
So Appiqon keeps the furniture still. The card is always the same shape, the type is always the same size, and only the category rule, the label colour and the icon tile change. What differs between one world and the next is the writing.
How this site is paid for
This website is operated by Globway International B.V. as the commercial promoter for the service. We earn a commission from our partners when somebody subscribes through a link here. That is the whole funding model and it is stated at the foot of every page.
It matters which model it is. An advertising-funded site, a reader-funded site and a commission-funded site are under three different pressures, and the disclosure is your only way to know which one applies to what you are reading. There is no advertising here, no sponsored content and no paid placement inside a collection.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or host the apps. They come from their own stores, on their own terms.
- We do not rank. Collections are grouped by theme, because a score invites gaming and a theme does not.
- We publish no invented ratings, testimonials or download figures.
